There’s a lot of honking at points in this dance, and I’m guessing it’s not mere ecstatic screaming, but some kind of Music of Life.
I only wish I knew its meaning, but would guess it involves a pledge of bonding. Canada Geese are said to mate for life, and perhaps this mating dance is one way in which they assure this bond will outlast the turning seasons.
