Lovers and doubtless duckling parents by now.
I shot this about a month ago, and ducks take about a month to hatch their young, so let’s congratulate our beautiful Drake and Duck on boosting the Bufflehead population.
We’re not on the salt marsh this month, but there’s a duck pond nearby, which I’ll visit later today. Probably won’t meet Buffleheads, but may encounter Mallard ducklings. Fingers crossed!
