There’s that tree again

I didn’t crop this image because the solitary placing of this tree, on the apex of the ridge, is part of its charisma.

All by itself, and excuse me if you’re bored, but I love the almost perfect conformation of this tree on Doe Run Ridge.

By chance, I met the man who planted the tree and lifted a glass with him as we talked trees. He told me it’s a Sugar Maple. I vowed to plant one of his trees in my own yard, but currently we’re pretty well planted up. Someday.

Bye Tree. See you again before long.
