What a gorgeous Great Blue Heron…

This bird so complete a copy of the Great Blue Heron that one might not notice he’s actually a Little Blue Heron were it not for the marsh grass lending a sense of scale.

WRONG, but understandable! Lyle the Little Blue Heron is such a completely detailed miniature of his Great Blue cousin, this photo might even fool a bird lover.

Lyle is still gorgeous in this version, but clearly a Little Blue Heron.
