Here’s a discovery from last autumn’s archives, previously unpublished, featuring my favorite wading bird ever.
The Little Blue Heron (Lyle) and Lesser Yellowlegs (Lester) weren’t playing here, but they did hang out together for quite some time, as captured in this photo. Hope to see you again in a few months, Lyle!
