School’s Out!

Two Great Egrets, mother and Child, taking flight

Edith, the smaller, Juvenile Great Egret, and Eglantine, her larger mother, both spread their wings to part ways, having completed a feeding lesson on the salt marsh.

As Edith the Juvenile Great Egret departs from a feeding lesson with Eglantine, her mom, sunlight shines through her graceful wings…

And I sometimes find it hard not to envy these beautiful creatures their moments in the sun. God Bless You both, Edith and Eglantine, and thank you for sharing your joys.
