Busily shooting at eye level, I nearly missed what might have been the most astonishing display at the entire Longwood Gardens Orchid Extravaganza…
One might understandably mistake these for miniatures, because I had only my 90mm macro at hand, dim ambient light, and this basket was hanging maybe 15’ from the floor.
Each Orchid has at least one virtually perfect full-sized blossom, maybe 4-5” wide.
Next visit I’m bringing a fill-flash!
