Returning to the Longwood Gardens Tulip Alley after ten days, I was stunned to find most of the tulips still opening.
I’ll return in another week, and meantime have images such as this mature pink and white tulip seen earlier in an emergent state. The pinks here have deepened and the double blossom is quite resplendent in the spring sunlight.
Here is the same Tulip with its colors not yet fully developed.
