Actually, five Goslings, proudly taken for a paddle by the nesting pair of Canada Geese that I never knew existed on the shores of this pond.
They were not thrilled by my presence but never broke formation, Gander leading, Goose to the rear (I believe from their relative sizes, swimming slowly and steadily to the opposite shore.
I think they’re knew I meant no harm but were taking no chances. Any how, here they are, and I encourage you to zoom into the center Gosling, who is awfully cute.
