A Girl Needs Time to Preen After Diving into the Mud for Supper..

Eglantine the Great Egret spent about fifteen minutes preening while I twiddled my thumbs and finally put forefinger to shutter. She’s awfully cute, no? Shot with Olympus EM1 Mark II and the wonderful Olympus Zuiko 300mm f4, using Olympus evangelist and VERY valued Instagram follower Scott Bourne’s recommended settings, which really do make a big difference! I strongly recommend all Olympus EM1 Mark II users follow him on Instagram and especially on Facebook, and checking out his article about using tracking autofocus for bird photography! I had no idea some of these submenu settings could be so important.
