Lester is a Lesser Yellowlegs, bigger than a Robin, but way smaller than a Great Egret and maybe a third the size of the adorably small Snowy Egret—so if that’s a frog in his beak, its a really, really teeny one. What is it, Lester? He skates all over the salt marsh, nabbing tasty morsels everywhere, but what’s so tasty as to motivate him to come back here every morning? A fish? Too lumpy. A cricket? But not underwater. So here we are, back at the headline.
